Combo Tester

The Wrist strap Cum Dual Footwear tester is a jig type arrangement to test the validity of ESD Wrist strap & foot wears. The instrument measures Independent test simultaneously for right foot, left foot and wrist strap at the same time. Other Footwear testers can only measure two foot at a time, or the combined resistance of both foot. The wrist strap cum Dual Foot Tester reduces the testing time by half, and offers the operator a visual and audible measurement of Pass or fail of both foot and wrist strap before entering the EPA.

Operation of Wrist Strap

Connect the wrist strap cord to the instrument with the strap on the wrist; press gently on the metal sensor of the wrist strap tester. The instrument comes on automatically when this is done. The operator can check whether the resistance of the wrist strap falls within the acceptable range (0.75 to 10 Meg ohms), This is indicated by green (pass) LED lighting up.

Operation of foot wears

Simply stand on the two stainless steel footprints on the foot plate and push the Dual foot wear tester press to test button. The instrument comes on automatically when this is done. The operator can check whether the resistance of the Foot wears falls within the acceptable range of 0.75 to 100 Meg ohms, this is indicated by green (pass) LED lighting up.
